The QLA have developed a coaching and support package for the upcoming Laser Nationals at Sandringham and the Youth Nationals at Sorrento. The support package is open to all QLA members regardless of sailing level.

The coaching and support package includes the following:

Australian Laser Nationals - Sandringham Yacht Club

• 2 Pre-regatta training session on January 1 and 2
• 6 days of daily weather forecast, pre-race and post-race briefing
• On water support during the event
• Coaches:
  • 4.7/Standard course - Brady Lowe
  • Radial course - Greg Kemp

Australian Youth Nationals - Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club

• 1 Pre-regatta training session on January 10
• 4 days of daily weather forecast, pre-race and post-race briefing
• On water support during the event
• Coaches:
  • 4.7/Radial course - Annie Eastgate

Pricing

RQYS have donated the use of a RIB for the Radial course and QAS will provide a RIB for the 4.7/Standard course. The pricing below is based on a minimum uptake of 10 sailors for the Laser Nationals and 10 for the Youth Nationals and includes:

• Coaching fees
• RIB Fuel
• RIB transport
• Coach Airfares
• Coach accommodation
• Coach registration fees

This coaching and support package is being done with a not for profit approach. If the coaching and support package has more than the minimum numbers, each sailor will get a refund of any excess fund paid directly to their nominated bank account.

Australian Laser Nationals - $500 ($250 if we get 20 participants)

Australian Youth Nationals - $200

The costs have been split between the two events to allow those only attending the Australian Laser Nationals a simple fee structure.
